First Week Completed
I seriously cannot believe that Nate and I have been married for a little over a week. I feel like you are preparing for the big day for months and months and then BOOM! It's over! It truly was the most magical day of my life. Nate was so handsome. The little bridesmaids and groomsmen looked adorable. And don't forget the decorations and guests! It was wonderful. I wish I could live that day over and over.
So now that the magical part is over, it is onto reality. It hasn't been too bad yet. Let me tell you, I think the hardest part of marriage so far is that I have to share a closet so I can't overtake the whole thing. I seriously keep bringing things home from my parents and taking up more space.. But let's be real Nate, if you aren't going to take up the space, I will!
Another change that has been fun to get used to is the name change! So, for those of you who don't know I am now a fourth grade teacher. I was Miss Draper on a Friday. Then BAM! Tuesday I was Mrs. Bundy. They were so funny about it. I told them I will accept either one as long as they are comfortable. The boys aren't liking the name change. But the girls on the other hand are loving it!! They think it's a little romantic so they are excited about it. Then you get the kids that know I am now Mrs. Bundy but they are a little embarrassed to go with the new name so they whisper, "Mrs. Bundy?" As if, if they are heard they will be made fun of. It has been pretty funny this week in the classroom!
I can't wait to continue telling stories of our life and my life in the classroom! My two dreams have finally come true. Teaching and being a wife.
Until next time!
Mrs. Allie Bundy
