Let's get crafty!

This week has been full of crafts! I have found that it keeps me sane from these crazy classes I have to take... I just want to say that if I knew how much my teachers had to go through in order to be a teacher, I would have respected and treated them like they were the most important people in the world! It is so crazy how much time and effort is put into this amazing career. I am so thankful for all my teachers I have had in the past.  And I am also sorry for the torture you went through to become a teacher. Because I am there now and I am dying!! Okay little spill is over. On to craft things! :)

Over the weekend my cousin Raylynn was in town. And that means crafting all weekend long!! I love it! Well we went to Michael's and Porters and of course blew all of my money... But! It is so worth it.. (That's what I keep telling myself anyway...) I was able to make this wreath that I am absolutely in love with! Jo made the wreath part out of a pool noodle and a little dowel and duck tape. Genius!

This week in my lovely 6th grade class we made rock animal buddies. Each student went out to the field and picked out rocks to create their very own animal.  I decided to do a turtle, but he isn't finished yet... So! Here are some of my students. They were so creative!! We had scorpions, horses, penguins, peacocks, turtles, giraffes and much more! They were all so cute! It was a nice break from testing at the end of the year. One kid said, "This is the best day of school ever!!"

Overall I had a wonderful week full of crafts and homework. I only cried once of stress!! That's pretty great to be honest... :) Check out my Hands page for the craft of the week!!

Until next time!
