This isn't a goodbye.. It's a I'll see you soon!

These past few days have been full of emotions... Friday I found out my Granddad has been in the hospital, Saturday he went home and had decided to stop taking his medicine and that it was time to stop fighting all of the sicknesses he has had for many many years.  So Sunday every one of my family showed up to little ole Grandview, Idaho to say our goodbyes and be with him one last time. We told stories and laughed and also cried... It was a hard few days...

Today he passed away very peacefully... With loved ones all around. I am so grateful for him in my life. I love where I come from and I can't wait to raise a family in this wonderful family bond that we have created over the years.  My Granddad was a great man and lived a great life. He would always tell us crazy stories about his childhood that we could learn from. He was a very loved man.

I am so grateful for the plan of salvation. For the guarantee that I will see him again in the Kingdom of God if I also live righteously. I love my Granddad very much and I am so grateful for the time I have spent with him by the fires at trap shooting, weenie roasts and the funny "When I was little a girl..." stories (yes, girl).  Thank you Granddad for raising a wonderful family. I love you dearly.
